Overview.

Headquartered in the awesome city in the world (Bangkok). The Amritsr restaurant is one of the leading restaurants in Thailand. They present their delicacies to all their guests. The Amritsr has only the best chefs in the food industry. Codenia Technologies has been working with them for over a years, and our relationship continues to evolve with the shifts in the landscape.

Challenges.

The Amritsr first hired Codenia Technologies in 2019 to take responsibility for all digital presence. The most important metric we had to optimise their ordering process. But for the Amritsr, cost per lead is a complicated KPI. The Amritsr offers 10+ different categories of dishes, and each specific option has a different value, flavours to it.

To make matters more complex, the funnel for each website was different.

For example, they have restaurants opening on regular basis on at various cities. they want to setup their online presence in a snap, so operations are not effected.

It was apparent this account would not be simple or easy to optimise and grow. Leading up to The Amritsr hiring Codenia, they have an open restaurant but online booking never picked up.

The second major challenge was the sheer size and complexity of the table booking structure. Each restaurant has different menu, catering and table ordering structure. We had to decide how to manage traffic for each restaurant.

Strategies.

A massive development restructuring and overhaul got underway, but at the same time we brought in our UX and UI team to get to work on designing.

The client already had stand alone menu and other pages for specific menus and tables, but all static.

We felt that the existing menu were too thin on content and didn't give the visitor enough relevant information, but the menu pages on the main website were too disorganised and static.

We presented a strategy to the client for building and designing new dynamic menu pages. The new and improved menu pages became a crucial element of effective conversion rate optimisation.

Our goal was to focus on ease for the visitor to make a reservation or order food online.

Results.

After redesigning our new website to look simpler and more scarce (without sacrificing production quality) we saw conversion rates skyrocket across the spectrum of online table reservation and online food delivery .

Here's a sampling of conversion rate results across four main programs:

Menu Reservation
Original: Static Menu. Only physical phone calls for ordering
Revised: Dynamic Menu with online facility of ordering and earning loyalty points. Restaurant can manage menu and prices from admin panel
Overall Change: +92.2%

Table Reservation
Original: Only physical phone calls for reservation
Revised: Dynamic Table Reservation system to book tables online for specific date and time. Admin can approve from the admin panel and confirmation email would go to customer.
Overall Change: +87.6%
